Low Profile: Stay Low and Minimize Noise
Kneeling to the Trout

Fish are amazingly aware of their surroundings and are always on the lookout for birds, river otters, fisherman, bigger fish and other predators.  Keep that in mind as you work the water.  On both lakes and rivers it is best to keep a low profile, stay low and minimize noise.  Use every advantage you have, especially if it is as simple as kneeling down to lower your profile.  Sneaking up on a suspected lie and executing a short, accurate presentation often yields results.
